Liverpool manager Arne Slot, after securing the Premier League title, has joined Manchester City’s Ruben Dias in criticizing certain teams’ unsportsmanlike tactics.
Slot believes time-wasting strategies — such as delaying restarts, feigning injuries, and taking excessive time for free-kicks and throw-ins — are responsible for Liverpool’s dropped points this season. Despite Liverpool winning the title, they’ve drawn 8 and lost 3 of 36 matches.
Slot stated:
“These tactics have nothing to do with football… I prefer to speak now, after we’ve won the league, not after a loss.”
